The first Nordic restaurant in Hong Kong: FINDS

Hong Kong’s first and only authentic Nordic restaurant FINDS unveils the autumn menu which further emphasizes on fine, fresh ingredients from Nordic region. Dedicated to presenting true Nordic flavour in every detail, Executive Chef Jaakko Sorsa uses greens, herbs and seasonings originated from Finland to complement seafood and Nordic specialities in the new menu. Starter Cold-Smoked Scallops consists of fresh slices that are slightly roasted and gently cold-smoked. The rich scent is well balanced with the refreshing smell from Helsinki pine oil extracted by chef Jaakko and garnishment Lapland spruce shoots. The condiments such as freshly-pickled chanterelles and celery confit give plentiful textures to the dish. For traditional option, Blini Deluxe, symbolizing the sun in Nordic culture, presents small buckwheat pancakes that go with luxurious smoked trout roe, smoked reindeer and salted mushroom tartare.
The indulgent Autumn Afternoon Tea features an array of alluring in-season savouries and sweet treats, including Arctic Shrimps with Tarragon Sauce, Signature Salmon Pastrami with Avocado Crème, Country Pate on Toast, Warm Porcini Mushrooms in Pastry, Banana & Toffee Eclairon, Chou Chou Cream Puff, Chocolate Truffle with Sea Buckthorn Berry Glaze, Lingonberry-Yoghurt Mousse, Cranberry Scones with Clotted Cream, Strawberry Jam and Danish Cherry Pastry. Served with a selection of organic tea, ice tea of the month or flavoured coffee, the afternoon tea set is priced at HK$356 for two and served between 3pm to 5:30pm (Monday to Friday) and HK$308 between 3:30pm to 5:30pm (Saturday, Sunday and Public Holidays).
