Singapore chefs won 3rd place in Greece for the Global Chef Challenge.
Congrats Team SG for taking the 3rd runner up podium spot at the Hans Bueschkens Challenge!
The Global Chefs Challenge is where the worlds best chefs meet to compete. The competition is held in three different categories, Global Chefs, Global Pastry Chefs and Young Chefs Challenge (Hans Bueschkens for 25 and under). Competitors present at the final first get through their national selection to go further to the regional semi final before reaching the world final stage to be held and Worldchefs Congress in Thessaloniki 2016.
Fairmont Singapore Chef Wins At International Competition
Chef Tan Kean-loon, 35, senior sous chef at Asia Market Café, Fairmont competed against 42 other talented chefs from across the globe in the Lee Kum Kee’s International Young Chef Chinese Culinary Challenge.
Lee Kum Kee introduced International Young Chef Chinese Culinary Challenge in 2014, substantiating the Group's core value of "Considering Others' Interests" in every aspect of its business operations, thereby promoting Chinese cuisine for the development of global Chinese culinary industry.
