Known to be one of the most beautiful Chinese festivals, the Mid-Autumn festival will be in full swing come 15 September at Chinatown. Bask in the large beautiful lanterns and traditional artistry, but do not forget to treat yourself to mooncakes! Find them in many varieties now, from the traditional lotus seed paste and egg yolk, to snowskin versions filled with everything from chocolate to champagne truffle. Be sure to enjoy them with a strong, palate-cleansing cup of Chinese tea.
