Burnt Ends Singapore Gets a New Head Chef

The American doughnut chain Krispy Kreme, founded in 1937, is setting up its first Singapore outlet at Basement 1 of Tangs Orchard. Forty-five days before its opening, 100,000 Krispy Kreme doughnuts will be given away across the island as part of its pre-opening "doughnut bomb" tradition. In Asia, Krispy Kreme’s presence can be felt in Malaysia, Indonesia and Japan, with three, 12, and 34 outlets respectively. Among their popular flavours are original glazed, glazed cinnamon, dulce de leche, custard filled, raspberry filled, glazed blueberry, strawberry filled, cinnamon twist, cinnamon apple filled, chocolate cruller, butter toffee crunch and New York cheesecake.
