Foreign Wine Stands Tall In China

As China wine makers are still learning the tricks of the trade in making better wines, wine producers are building their forts in China like Chris Ruffle. Ruffle has built a Scottish0styled castle and vineyard in China’s Penglai, with a well-known neighbour- Château Lafite Rothschild. Vineyards are also blooming in the Ningxia region where many great wines have recently been reported, harvested from that region. Will this affect the prices of vineyard owners like Ruffle who are selling wines, harvested from China itself? Will the Chinese palate look for the taste of wine or the country of origin?
