Japan Food Town Opens In Singapore Stepping into 20,075 square foot space of Japan Food Town over at Wisma Atria, located at the heart of Orchard Road, Singapore, is akin to being transported to Japan.

The essence of Japan starts with the warm and welcoming Japanese hospitality through an interior seeks to emphasize on 'MA', a modern Japanese sense of space, while incorporating the concept of natural elements sourced from the land of the rising sun. It plays on textures of unvarnished wooden lattice and black clay walls and features a washi paper adorned ceiling along with an iconic red gate to symbolize a cooking stove with steam rising to the ceiling. It also uses plates, bowls and other kitchenware to evoke a sense of anticipation for the Japanese meals served within the 16 speciality outlets that it encompasses.

Japan Food Town comes as a collaborative with the Japan Association of Overseas Promotion for Food & Restaurants and the result is one that offers the public authentic Japanese cuisine and delicacies that are affordable and filled with the freshest Japanese produce as the ingredients are largely procured from Japan to the extent of a daily basis. Look out for unique and rare ingredients such as the Matsuzaka Beef, Kinme Rice and Kindai Maguro among the menus offered by the various restaurants!

There will be something for everyone in Japan Food Town as it houses within speciality outlets of soba, udon, tempura, ramen, saba, sashimi/sushi and even sake respectively. All outlets will commence service by the end of July except for one, Yakiniku Heijoen, that will be opened in August.
