Hawker center are a staple in the local Singaporean food scene. Many love to dine at the Hawker Center, but not many would take over a stall easily. The Government has set up a Hawker Center 3.0 Committee, in charge of maintaining a trade that is a source of pride for locals and regularly draws visiting celebrities, like British chef Gordon Ramsay.
