HK Express to ban shipping Shark Fin Cargo

Taking a stand against the use of shark fin in Chinese cuisine. HK Express would be the first airline in Hong Kong to ban the shipment of Shark Fin Cargo, joining 35 airlines worldwide that have pledged to stop carrying shark fin.
The wildlife campaigner responsible for the airline and shipping companies’ pledge, Alex Hofford from WildAid, said: “HK Express’ commitment to flying shark free on cargo flights and these latest government figures show that our efforts are paying off. Such efforts are greatly appreciated by the marine conservation world. While critics have mention that not carrying Shark Fin makes the airline look foolish comparing it to French airlines carrying foie gras and Russian airlines carrying caviar.
