Champagne Sales Fall Despite Celebratory Occasion

Champagne Sales Fall Despite Celebratory Occasion Champagne is the most important alcohol during celebartory occasions, opening with a pop. However as the economy in France ‘pops’ down, sales for Champagne falls. Market professionals fear a new drop in sales for 2013 may take overall volumes below 300-million bottle marker. How will this affect the overall Champagne sales? Perhaps only a minor 2+% drop in the EU in terms of champagne sales, it could mean a shift in the champagne market in entirety. Will we be getting lower quality champagne where producers cut cost in trying to create lesser losses?
