The World Gourmet Summit has been giving out Awards of Excellence since 1996, it is a great honour to receive one, and across the years, some recipients were presented with the award for more than three times. Thus, in order to recognise their talents and hard work, World Gourmet Summit came up with the Hall of Fame in 2009. This year, the World Gourmet Summit, Awards of Excellence is proud to induct a new member to the Hall of Fame, Chef Janice Wong. Chef Janice Wong from 2am:dessertbar is a home grown chef, whose creations are cutting-edge and is a regular on the pop-up circuit. Even with these accolades, she continues to push herself to learn different pastry techniques, thus it is little wonder that she has won Pastry Chef of the Year for three years and is now the newest member of the Awards of Excellence, Hall of Fame.
