Quite like Singapore’s fish soup with milk added into it, Bangus Specialty Restaurant, set up by two sisters decided that milkfish would be a hit in the 1970s. Bangus literally means milkfish in Tagalog which the sisters offer a variety of bangus dishes. However, the sisters believe that one of the selling points of their bangus, lies in their meticulous thought of deboning the bangus to ensure that diners can enjoy their meals with no worries. The restaurant has some history, but they are always looking into new dishes, venturing into different techniques of cooking up bangus. This is definitely true where the restaurant has introduced a special Christmas menu. Who would have thought that milkfish could be a Christmas dish in replacement of the usual turkey.
