We know e-commerce business Alibaba. We know the founder Jack Ma. We know he’s one of the richest men in China. But what we don’t know is that he has bought over Châteaus de Sours, a 198-acre estate in Entre-Deux-Mers, for a hefty sum of more than $16 million. This is triple the value of a similar châteaus. Ma purchased de Sours from Martin Krajewski, who is and will remain the estate’s consultant. Ma and his friends visited Bordeaux last year and made plans to acquire 20 properties by this year and to find a company who would manage management and distribution. Learn more here:
