10 Singapore Restaurants Honoured At Asia's 50 Best Restaurants 2016

Singapore confirmed its position as the region’s gastronomic hub with 10 restaurants honoured at the Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants awards. Chef André Chiang’s Restaurant André (No.3) holds the title of The Best Restaurant in Singapore, sponsored by S.Pellegrino & Acqua Panna, for the fourth consecutive time. Extending his influence in the region, André Chiang also impressed diners with his Raw restaurant in Taipei, which enters the list at No.46.
Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants, sponsored by S.Pellegrino & Acqua Panna, revealed the 2016 list at an awards ceremony at the W Hotel in Bangkok, Thailand, before an audience of the region’s most celebrated chefs, restaurateurs and industry VIPs. Gaggan in Bangkok has claimed the top spot in the list of Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants for a second consecutive year, retaining the coveted title of The Best Restaurant in Asia, sponsored by S.Pellegrino & Acqua Panna.
The 2016 list includes such familiar Singapore favourites as Waku Ghin (No.6), Les Amis (No.12), Burnt Ends (No.14), Shinji By Kanesaka (No.21), Jaan (No.29), Tippling Club (No.31) and Iggy’s (No.36). Two new entries from Singapore include Corner House (No.17) and Wild Rocket (No.38). Visit
