102-year-old passenger ship, Doulos Phos, was built in 1914 in the United States. Now the vessel is a hotel, located beside the Bandar Bentan Telani ferry terminal in Bintan. This transformation was by Singaporean businessman, Eric Saw, director of Source Ed-Ventures. Named Doulos Phos The Hotel, Saw hopes that it will open by Christmas or early next year, and guests can expect a maritime museum, an amphitheatre and other facilities.
