Organic Products Available At Neighbourhood Supermarkets

Gone are the days that organic products can only be found at high-end supermarkets. Today, your friendly neighbourhood supermarkets like Sheng Siong and NTUC FairPrice offer them too. Since October 2014, organic products like vegetables and brown rice can be found at certain Sheng Shiong’s outlets. This move is to meet the growing demand of customers looking for such products, said a Sheng Siong spokesman. For NTUC FairPrice and Cold Storage, both have noted a climb in sales for organic goods. As such, the range of products available has expanded. Supermarkets import organic products not just locally, but from Australia, Malaysia, Indonesia and Thailand as well. Learn more here:
