Keeping Traditional Values Alive In Japanese Cuisine

Japanese cuisine is ever popular in many countries. Outside Japan, there are more than 89,000 restaurants, and in the US, approximately 22,000 Japanese restaurants can be found. To ensure that traditional values of Japanese cuisine are maintained, Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, will be rolling out a new programme, known as washoku. Launching soon, washoku helps to eliminate common mistakes made by overseas chefs such as the way food is presented to customers and contaminating the fish by touching it too often. Learn more here:
