Starwood's Commitment To Cage-free Eggs In 2020

By 2020, Starwood Hotels & Resorts plans to source 100% of its eggs from cage-free chickens. Andrea Pinabell, Starwood’s vice president of sustainability has noted the importance of animal welfare to customers and would like to commit in doing the right thing. The group’s commitment involves suppliers and is looking forward to help “foster a more humane food system.” HSUS Senior Food Policy Director, Matthew Prescott remarked, “People just don’t want chickens confined in cages, making Starwood’s decision better for animals and its bottom line.” Learn more here:
