We are all familiar with juice cleanse, but what about soup cleanse? For the last few weeks, investment banker, Vivienne Zhao, goes on a soup cleanse every Monday. She consumes five different liquid meals served in plastic containers within a day. This is known as souping. Zhao places her orders with Splendid Spoon in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, which serves a range of soups for single-day to seven-day cleanses. Nicole Chaszar, the company founder, said that sales have tripled annually ever since souping was introduced in 2013. Learn more here:
