Millennials Dominate US Wine According to a study from Wine Market Council, millennials, aged between 21 and 38, belong to the largest wine-drinking cohort in the US. They make up for 36% of all US wine drinkers, pushing ‘Baby Boomers’ and Generation X to second and third place respectively. On average, millennials drink 3.1 glasses of wine per session, while people in Generation X drink 2.4 glasses. In 2015, the US consumed 2.5% more wine than the year before.
