Wine Trends For 2016

The wine future will never be dull. It will continue to grow and be as popular as the next Korean boy band forming. This year, eight predictions are given. The first is how the English sparkling wine will take centre stage thanks to Taittinger, a French champagne house, which announced its purchase of a vineyard land and plans to create top sparkling wines. The second is how “natural” wines will start appealing to more diners, due to the heightened interest in artisanal products. The third is cabernet franc predicted to take home the award as hot grape of the year.
