Plans For Drones At Timbre: Delayed

Is it a bird? No. Is it a plane? No. Is it superman? No. It is a drone in a restaurant. For those looking forward to experience being served by a drone at Timbre’s Gillman Barracks restaurant will have to exercise a bit more patience till mid-year. The original plan was to have the drones up and flying, and serving, at one of Timbre’s venues by the end of last year. The drones are developed by Infinium Robotics in Singapore and currently are “undergoing the final stage of development”. In an attempt to increase productivity and decrease labour costs, 40 drones are ordered which cost the group a hefty seven-figure sum. Find out more here:
