Female Chefs In The Hotel Industry In a patriarchal society like India, the sight of female chefs in the hotel industry roughing it out is still a rare sight. Mrinalinee SV Swarup, who is a junior sous chef at Upper Deck, Vivanta by Taj-Fisherman's Cove said that the job doesn’t entice because of its long hours and the difficulty of balancing work and personal life.
