New Luxury Hotels In Asia According to findings from MMGY Global’s 2015 Portrait of American Travelers, one in five participants stated that Asia is among their choice of visit within the next two years. Their interest is influenced by factors like improved infrastructure and the variety of hotel options available to meet their needs. MMGY reports that Japan, China and Thailand are among the top three countries that dominate the listing, but Singapore and India are trailing behind as well. Come 2016, there will also be a rise of new hotel openings sprouting throughout Asia. Japan will welcome Aman’s second property, Amanemu on 1 March. St Regis Mumbai is slated to open in November and Four Seasons will open two new hotels in Seoul and Kyoto. Four Seasons Hotel Kyoto will be located in the Higashiyama-ku district where it’s a stone throw away from many heritage sites such as Kiyomizu Temple and Toyokuni Shrine.
