Apple has been the top revolutionary IT company with the iPhones, iPods and iMacs. We might have been complaining about the stagnant designs and features the upcoming phones have offered, but Apple is not taking things lightly in trying to improve themselves and opening new market opportunities. Apple has tendered a patent application for a new ordering and reservation system to work with various Apple iDevices. This system is applicable to other services like movie theatres, but Apple has placed their focus on restaurants. One of the most common uses of this system is in Singapore’s Sakae Sushi where orders can be made via the iPad fixated on each dining table. Could this affect the job market for waiting staff?
