Dear Japan, who can resist you? Japan as a holiday destination is appealing to many, so much so that despite being a foodie country, that offers a slate of restaurants and bars selling alcoholic drinks and pork dishes, it gets visitors from Muslim countries like Indonesia and Malaysia. While many restaurants would like to cater to them, there are faced with road blocks. Manager of Sushi Ken Masao Ito shares that few places handle halal seasoning and processed food is a headache too. Thankfully, ingenuity struck and they found a way. The seasoning is made in-house instead of being sourced, a new kitchen has been created to serve halal meet and is doing more to get a halal certification. Read more here:
