Singapore’s Sommelier Is Runner-up In French Wines Competition

Organised by Sopexa, The Asia Best Sommelier Competition in French Wines 2015 that happened last month at Le Meridien Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia had gathered Asia’s finest candidates to compete with one another. The grand title went to Jungmin An from South Korea who is the head sommelier of SPC Group. First runner-up went to Igg’s Alan Au Kok Hoong from Singapore and Po Ting Luo was second-runner up from Temple Restaurant Beijing in Taiwan. Grégoire Debré, Sopexa director for South East Asia and Taiwan said that the event was to forge a strong partnership among key industry players and to strengthen the community as a whole.
