According to new research conducted by scientist at the University of California, the alcohol content labelled on bottles is in fact not what it is, but higher than an average of 0.42 per cent. The research involves of sample of 100,000 bottles of wine from all over the world. The discrepancy may not be much, but small things make a huge difference – and this could result in negative consequences to the drinkers if they’re unaware, like drinking beyond the drink-driving limit and health issues.
