Hopefully the next time when an immigration officer asks you, “Are you here for business or leisure?” You can confidently say, both. According to Lonely Planet’s tourism chief, getting business travellers out to let their hair down and spend more is a challenge. The routine of staying cooped up inside their hotel rooms, with eyes peeled to the laptops while fiercely punching the keyboards or poking their smartphone screens, seem to appeal more than going out and do some exploring. To entice them out, Singapore has dropped some tempting baits which include having its own Michelin guide and bringing in more international events. Find out more here:
