Meet Black Cow Vodka. It’s the world’s first (and only) pure milk vodka, and it’s made entirely from the milk of grass-fed cows.
Vodka fans will know that the tipple is traditionally made from potatoes or grains, but when West Dorset farmer Jason Barber wanted to find a new use for his 250 dairy cows, he decided turning their milk into booze was the answer.
Jason told us, “The milk is separated into curds and whey, the whey is then fermented into a beer using a special yeast that converts the milk sugar into alcohol. It’s then distilled, blended using their secret process, triple filtered and finished before being hand bottle.” Read more here:
