McDonald’s Launches Michelin Chef-approved ‘Thicker’ Burgers in the UK In an age where fast food is trying to keep up with dining trends, we’ve seen our fair share of fast food chains trying to up their fancy-pants game with beer/wine pairing. Now McDonald’s UK has joined in with their take on gourmet burgers – complete with a Michelin chef stamp of approval.

The Signature Collection features three burgers, The Classic, The BBQ and The Spicy, and they’ll only be made to order. Because customers ‘wanted thicker beef patties, high quality ingredients and freshly prepared,’ according to McDonald’s UK food development director Duncan Cruttenden.

They were launched this week across 28 restaurants, mainly in London and the south of England. There are plans to roll out the burgers in 400 restaurants across the UK next summer. To see the whole list of burgers to entice you, head here: http://goo.gl/r0DY1y
