Joliet Junior College Culinary Students to Offer Wine Pairing Dinner

The Friday Night Out Dinner Series is served each Friday at the Joliet Junior College Renaissance Center in downtown Joliet in Illinois, USA. The dinners this semester began in September and will continue through December.
The regular dinner events are menu-based, open to the public and priced per item, ranging from USD$15.95 to USD$25.95. “Every week we have a new menu and we’re on different stations, so that everyone has a chance to do some of the really high-paced areas,” said culinary arts student Megan Kuk of Plainfield.
However, once each semester, the department offers a special Friday Night Out, in which students design a multicourse dinner. Each course is paired with wine – and explanations – from the chef instructors and students. To read the full story, go to
