Additives in Wine, wineries undergoes investigations 17 Wineries are undergoing investigation due to the charge believe that they have added chemical into their Sauvignon, which is not permitted under Italian law. This shocked Friuli region as some of the wines made by these wineries have won awards not only regionally but internationally.
