2016 St. Moritz Gourmet Festival, 25th to 29th January: ‘Yokoso Nippon’ Announcement of Guest Master Chefs

The Japanese cuisine offers a large culinary variety that can be discovered at the 2016 St. Moritz Gourmet Festival – ‘Yokoso Nippon’ – from 25th to 29th January! The Japanese star-crowned chefs Hisato Nakahigashi, Masayasu Yonemura, Hiroki Yoshitake, Kei Kobayashi, Keisuke Matsushima, Tohru Nakamura, Hideki Matsuhisa and Nobu Matsuhisa, as well as head sushi chef Akifumi Sakagami, will provide authentic Far Eastern delectations for one week in the Upper Engadine.

The 2016 St. Moritz Gourmet Festival will pay tribute to contemporary Japanese cuisine – a mix of tradition and modernity. Under the motto ‘Yokoso Nippon’ – a cordial welcome to Japan!, it will bring together in the Upper Engadine nine master chefs during the last week of January. All the chefs have their roots in Japan but interpret Japanese cuisine very individually, attracting international attention with it. Gourmets await experiences of pleasure for all the senses.
