It is no easy feat to be able to acheive a doctorate with many only attaining at a certain high age after major contributions. We are really pleased and proud of Chef Rick Stephen for his contributions and how far he has come in attaining his doctorate. Receiving his honourary doctorate, Chef Stephen or rather Dr Stephen, was present on stage at Youngsan University, dressed in a specially designed robe fashioned on a late 18th century King's roe. Dr Stphen has contributed immensely to the Korean culinary and tourism industry including the establishment of tourism infrastructure through the hosting of culinary competitions and in cultivating young chefs all over the world. He believes that chefs should always move forward with their training methods in allowing young chefs accend to the next level of their chosen field.
