In Loving Memory of Alen Thong

On 26 August 2015, we received news that Mr Alen Thong had pass away peacefully. Mr Thong will most definitely be missed by all his peers and loved ones, for his contribution and work with chefs in the UAE and beyond. “He will be remembered as the founding co-ordinator of our guild and a driver for our success,” expresses Andy Cuthbert, of Jumeirah International. Peter A. Knipp of Peter Knipp Holdings Pte Ltd recalls Mr Thong’s influence as one that was felt by all who met him and interacted with him, as he promoted the chef’s profession in the truest of spirit.
