Since 2012, London has seen a departure from what we know as the conventional fine dining experience – snooty, aloof and pretentious, in favour of a more minimalistic, affable and personal style of fine dining. Seven young chefs have spearheaded this movement, causing the words “fine dining” to no longer conjure up images of silver service, rich sauces and lavish dishes, but instead, have become with associated with a dining experience that couples the highest quality with informality and affordability.
