Airbnb’s meteoric rise in popularity, which has resulted in a company valued at a staggering $24 billion, a full twenty-seven times its projected 2015 revenue, has begun to worry billionaire real estate investors. Legendary investor Thomas Barrack even goes as far as to suggest that the hotel industry might see a consolidation with Airbnb, and that “you’re going to see a hotel manager merge with Airbnb.” Read more at:
