After decades of economic sanctions and political isolation by Iran, a landmark nuclear deal that could spell the end of sanctions has hotel chains eyeing the country as a potential location for opportunities. Following the opening of a four-star Axis hotel in Tehran, and plans to open a five-star Axis Prime by French hotel group Accor, several other firms, like the UAE-based Rotana group are paving the way for foreign hospitality investments into the region.
