Economists are expecting a bullish market in 2014 and with that, there are implicating consequences to that in that inflation is bound to take place, thereby increasing the costs of living. It has been a volatile fiscal year for 2013 in terms of rising costs for owning a car and even for purchasing of food and beverages, however this will not be changing anytime soon in the coming year. Especially with Chinese New Year coming soon, and reservations already made, we can expect even hawker fare to rise in terms of costs. Will the government make plans to avoid burdens on the lower income groups other than the existing rebates given to all households?
