Members of the Sauternes and Barsac union have voted to create a cooperative cellar, part of efforts to revitalize the Bordeaux wine scene. The hope is that this co-operative will allow the creation of commercially interesting brands, instead of the bulk Sauternes that makes up a large volume of the sales each year.
