Eat Your Nuts!

Research led by Dr Ying Bao of Harvard-affiliated Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston showed that nut eaters are more likely to live longer and are more likely to stay slim. With a test group of around 119,000, researchers discovered that regular nut eaters of both genders are 20 percent less likely to die as compared to those who do not consume nuts. Results also showed that for those who do consume nuts but not on a regular basis actually lowers the risk of death in direct proportion to consumption. Nuts like pistachios, almonds, walnuts and other tree nuts were amongst the research. Although the reason behind this result is unknown, it is clear that nuts do benefit you in the long run. Just take mixed nuts on the safe side to consume all the appropriate nuts for their nutritional values.
