(Mud)skipper Your Way To PUTIEN!

(Mud)skipper Your Way To PUTIEN! PUTIEN celebrates the 22nd Anniversary with the launch of a new seasonal Mudskipper menu to give back .

From now till 30 November, visit any PUTIEN outlet in Singapore to try out 3 different cooking styles of mudskippers, a seafood discovery featured in many major TV broadcasting programmes such as China CCTV’s “A Bite of China 2”, “Tasty China” and “A Taste from Home 2020”.

Mudskippers can be found in coastal provinces of China with estuarine tidal flats such as Fujian and Zhejiang and best enjoyed in autumnal and winter months.  A homestyle recipe that every child from Putian is familiar with, this rich soup mudskipper dish is both nutritious and satisfying. The thick and scrumptious broth is cooked with PUTIEN’s traditional salt-brine bean curd, complementing the tender stewed fish. It is the coziest comfort food that’s best suited for the Autumn season.

Highlights of the dishes made with mudskippers, include the  Pan-fried Braised Mudskippers a try. This is the authentic traditional cooking method of Fujian fishermen by pan frying the fish in hot oil and dressing it with a rich braised sauce, which results in fish meat that is tender with a crispy and light crust.

All dishes are available at all 18 outlets for $29.80. Diners will also enjoy 20% off a carafe of Sake with any order of mudskippers, from now till the end of November. The mudskippers menu is also available for order on delivery platforms such as Inline, Oddle, GrabFood, FoodPanda and Deliveroo
