A Chilean Celebration with DO Puente!

A Chilean Celebration with DO Puente! Guests were able to take a trip to Chile just by attending the Puente Alto showcase which showcased the beauty of Chilean wines with their wonderful climate that helps to develop the best terroir to create wonderful Chilean wine.

Set at the foot of the majestic Andes Mountains on the northern terrace of the Maipo River, 650 meters above sea level in one of the coldest sectors of the Maipo Valley, Puente Alto is influenced by a semi-arid Mediterranean climate and frequent showers of rain over the treasured pre-phylloxera vines imported from France in the mid-19th century. This extraordinary terroir of Puente Alto, coupled with the expertise of Chilean winemakers from Don Melchor and Marques de Casa Concha Heritage, have resulted in remarkable fine wines of world class standards.

Guests got to hear from Enrique Tirado, CEO and Chief Winemaker of Don Melchor as well as Marcelo Papa, Chief Winemaker at Marques de Casa Concha about their unique winemaking process and experience the elegant Don Melchor 2020 and Marques de Casa Concha Heritage 2020 over dinner.
