Mad About Sucre's Secret European Summer-Time Madness!
Mad About Sucre has an all-new summer menu created especially to evoke a picturesque European summer. The gourmet restaurant-French patisserie-haute chocolaterie is unveiling an exquisite lineup weaving culinary magic with only natural ingredients to transport diners from Outram to the vibrant cities of Europe!
With dishes curated and put together meticulously for this menu, diners are sure to taste the best of imported seasonal ingredients at the peak of freshness. Returning favourites share the philosophy of eating fresh and delicious while containing chemical-free ingredients that are natural and great.
A key highlight of this menu includes their incomparable sweet desserts, which use organic gluten-free flour and unprocessed raw sugar. Think realistic-looking fruits filled with a mixture of ingredients that may not necessarily depict exactly what is in the fruits. It’s a delight for the eyes and the tongue. Hey Peachy, for example, is a peach shell filled with Oolong Tea pastry and juicy peach cubes. Another example? Good Arvo, a mix of avocado, pineapple and lemon. These desserts are available with either tea or cocktail pairing.
This is, of course, the work of Mad About Sucre’s Chef, Lena Chan, co-founder of the restaurant with her brother, who is no stranger to all things yummy and sweet. A proud graduate of the prestigious Le Cordon Bleu Institution, Chef Lena was taught by the old Parisian masters and chefs. And over here at Mad About Sucre, she brings to the table masterful techniques and ties people closer with deluxe and vibrant chocolates and desserts.
