Zouk Group launches Maison Shūko, a Japanese-French Omakase Restaurant! There is a new place in town to enjoy the best of Japanese-French cuisine, and it’s Zouk Group's latest culinary destination, Maison Shūko!
 
Led by three local chefs - World Gourmet Award MKN Chef of The Year 2018 and 2020 recipient Angus Chow, television regular Justin Foo and Jeremmy Chiam!
 
Fun fact: “Shūko” is an amalgam of Chef Chow and Chef Foo’s last names!
 
The chefs showcase local producers and ingredients with a magnificent eight-course menu. Walk into Maison Shūko and get the feel of the story behind each course.
  

To start, try Crocodile & Crackers - a dish featuring crocodile meat from Long Kuang Hung farm pounded and marinated in lime before tossed in a tangy dressing made with ponzu, shoyu and black garlic puree.


  
For something a little more exotic, try Har Jiong Frog Legs & Papaya Sambal Sorbet using frogs from Jurong Frog Farm. A delicious fusion of hot and cold, savory and spicy, these chonky bullfrog legs are marinated for a day in Chef Foo’s secret prawn paste recipe and arrive piping hot from the deep fryer while the sambal sorbets adds a fruity cold element on the plate.
 
“This is the perfect replacement for chicken, especially during a time of chicken shortage” said Chef Foo. We can all agree that it is delicious—just like chicken wings!
 

 
Chef Chow is known for his signature Truffle & Chicken Yolk Somen. We love this dish because it's so decadent, yet light at the same time. It's served cold, and Chef Angus pairs chilled somen noodles with freshly shaved Australian Perigord Truffles, truffle oil, and an incredibly rich egg sabayon created from the eggs of kampung chicken from Ang Seng. It's the kind of dish that you can't wait to eat, but you also love to look at.
