1st Round of Young Escoffier Singapore Held At SHATEC!
The Singapore Delegation of the Disciples Escoffiers organised the Young Talents Escoffier Singapore Selection Competition last Saturday.
Held at SHATEC Institutes from 9:30 to 1pm, the event was held for young chefs below 25+ . Each individual had to cook for 2 hrs to. Using main ingredients as provided by the organisers, as well as Escoffier recipes, each individual young chef is required to prepare & present a platter with 3 garnishes each. The winner of the YTE Singapore Selection will represent SG to compete in the Asian competition in Hong Kong on November 2022 . Then Winner of Asia will be represented Asia to compete in YTE World in Europe 2023 .
Winner of the selection competition on that day was Ho Jia Yi. First runner up went to Ng Shi Long while second runner up went to Isabelle Koh Xiu Li.
