Or, that is, probably the thought process of 159ATAS, a lifestyle epicurean group with a holistic range of brands in the full-service, quick-service, takeaway and F&B retail category. The Malay term, 'atas' was adopted by the group to, "remind ourselves to be the best in our concept delivery." The restaurant group was established in 2017 and the founding team’s desire to transform heritage shophouses into popular, contemporary, dining and drinks destination has quickly positioned it as a key F&B operator.
With a commitment to serving premium wines and quality protein-led menus, the restaurants in question have also attracted a loyal following. Boeuf, for one, is a modern steakhouse on Telok Ayer Street that sources prime cuts of beef with premium wine list, and Cochon, a modern pop-up pork-focused bistro in Geylang, serving up authentic Texan style, smoked ribs and signature pork dishes. Their newest addition, restaurant Poisson, has attracted a new range of fans: being a premium seafood restaurant that finds quality seafood from sustainable farms in Singapore and certified international partners. Each recipe is inspired by some of the favourite recipes across Europe, South America, and Asia and reimagined with Poisson’s unique contemporary cooking philosophy.
