TERAI India Dry Gin is now in Singapore!
Good news to all gin connoisseurs, there’s a new gin in town - TERAI India Dry Gin!
TERAI is a modern gin founded in London Dry Gin traditions with a distinctively Indian profile and character, distilled by the India Craft Spirit Co., India's first single gin craft distillery.
TERAI Indian Dry Gin has won numerous awards since its inception. Two silver wins at the San Francisco 2021 World Spirit Competition for London Dry Gin and Packaging Design, as well as a silver in the Gin Made in Asia category at The Asian Spirit Masters 2021.
TERAI is a carefully constructed ode to the Indian region of 'Terai,' a strip of fertile marshland running along the foothills of the Himalayas, and offers a lush, generous, and fresh palate. The Terai region, which was founded by the Swarups, a family with a long history of agriculture in the area dating back to the 1700s, has influenced both the drink and the design.
The packaging is infused with references to Indian culture and history. Its one-of-a-kind container was inspired by carved pillars found in Indian architecture, while the cap was created to resemble a highly lacquered wooden toy commonly found in Channapatna.
Gin enthusiasts can enjoy a TERAI Gin cocktail promotion at 28 HongKong Street from now until the end of June. Milk Jagger ($25), a milk punch cocktail with TERAI Gin, lemon, almond, coconut, cinnamon jaggery, and cardamom, is a milk punch cocktail influenced by traditional Indian flavors.
Bars/Restaurants like Alley Bar, The Elephant Room, Revolver, and Publico Ristorante now carry Terai India Dry Gin. TERAI will also be available for purchase at EC Proof, The Standish, Original Whiskeys, The Liquor Shop, and The Providore.
