Embark on a Nomad Odyssey with MO Bar! MO Bar, which was recently elected as #36 in the World's 50 Best Bars 2021, has unveiled its Volume Four menu, featuring a nomad odyssey throughout the Asia Pacific, continuing its tradition from the previous volumes. Volume Four takes a completely different approach to design, with a sphere-shaped menu that transports diners to new places through an illustrated 3D globe that presents the cocktail collection. Diners were tasked to DIY the menu which challenged their artistic skills and gave them something to work with while awaiting their drinks. 


 

MO Bar welcomes diners to renowned destinations throughout the Pacific Ocean, exploring untouched flavours by foot and sea, as they emerge from the new normal and into new dimensions. Begin your voyage with Full Moon, a delicate rice paper rum drink from South Korea that wonderfully matches the sweetness of Asian pear with undertones of cool wheatgrass. Next, Lakeside is a Kombucha-based beverage with fragrant lemongrass and spices presented in a ceramic mug is a stunning cocktail.




With Satay by the Bay, a smokey cocktail that combines the flavours of gin and satay, diners get to discover the Southeast Asian cuisine of seasoned and skewered meant soaked in peanut sauce which gives off an unconventional taste. Holi is inspired by the celebration of colour, life and diversity celebrated in India, which includes the elements of spices, buttermilk, and gin that turns out to be a milky yet bitter cocktail. Ube which is a Philippines amalgamation of purple yam, jackfruit, and ice cream reminded us of Bailey’s Irish Cream. We ended the night with Nostalgia, a blend of cognac, banana, and caramel inspired by the local Vietnamese food.
 
Cocktails are accompanied by a variety of bar appetizers such as the Truffle Cheese Naan and Tuna Tataki Somen with seaweed, radish, soya dressing, and garlic chips. Those that are looking for a meatier option, choose the Royal Indian Tandoori Selection, which includes chicken, lamb, prawns, and fish.
