Peach Blossoms' Exclusive 6 Hands Dinner to Wow on the 23rd of April

Peach Blossoms' Exclusive 6 Hands Dinner to Wow on the 23rd of April Chef Edward Chong, Executive Chef at Peach Blossoms, would like you to know that the long break between the closing of the restaurant in its hotel, PARKROYAL COLLECTION at Marina Bay, has actually helped him re-look and retool how he wants Peach Blossoms, a partner restaurant of the World Gourmet Summit 2021,  to set itself apart from the rest of the team. Its opening resulted in a long, introspective look at what it means to be a restaurant that serves up Chinese cuisine. Chef Chong, long a proponent of innovating Chinese cuisine, is creating a menu that is elevating and continuing Chinese cuisine to a whole new level. “When you taste the menu, you can easily tell not just the amount of care and love in the menu, but also what the chef is thinking and the direction he is going towards,” he explains.

“A lot of the dishes I created are made with the intent of making sure that if photographed, they are easily recognisable for not just aesthetics, but also brand recognition,” says Chef Chong. Indeed, one look at the Four Combination Platter and the Cigarillo can easily see the new logo of Peach Blossoms, designed for the reopening as well as to inject new creativity into the brand. “On Instagram, you can easily find food that’s great looking as well as delicious, but if not tagged properly, or if only casually glanced at, nobody would actually know where the dish actually comes from.” He’s also taking the time to make sure that the menu he is designing for this new era of Peach Blossoms matches up not just to the renovated restaurant, but to the rebranding of the whole Hotel that it is located in. He calls it a tribute to nature and environmentalism, as well as sustainability.

Peach Blossoms is currently celebrating progressive Cantonese dining with three master chefs at the top of their game, Chef Tony Khoo, Chef Chan Tuck Wai and Chef Edward Chong collaborate on an exclusively curated ‘6-Hands’ dinner menu, in collaboration with WGS. Gastronomic dining is elevated with the finest ingredients and culinary technique in this one-night only epicurean affair on the 23rd of April. Seats are limited, don’t miss out!
